These terms and conditions set out how you may use Top Offshore Sportsbooks at sportsims.net, what our content is and is not, and what responsibilities sit with you as a reader. We publish rankings and reviews of new offshore sportsbooks that accept US bettors. We do not accept wagers, hold customer funds, or operate any sportsbook. By using this site you accept the terms below. Last reviewed Sep 24, 2026.

Age statement: this site is for adults aged 21 or over (18 where a specific offshore sportsbook sets that as its minimum and the reader's own jurisdiction permits it). Nothing here is intended for, or directed at, anyone younger.

What this site is, and what it is not

Top Offshore Sportsbooks is an independent comparison and review publisher. Our editorial team researches offshore betting sites, verifies what can be verified from public sources and operator documentation, and publishes an opinion. We do not claim to have deposited, wagered, or withdrawn money at any sportsbook we cover; our conclusions are research-based, not the result of live account testing.

  • We are not a bookmaker and take no bets.
  • We do not process payments, hold balances, or handle withdrawals.
  • We cannot intervene in a dispute between you and a sportsbook, recover a delayed payout, or unlock a restricted account.
  • Nothing on this site is legal, tax or financial advice. For any question about the legality of betting where you live, or the tax treatment of gambling winnings, consult a qualified professional.

The legal position of offshore sportsbooks

This matters more than any other clause on this page, so we state it plainly. The sportsbooks listed on sportsims.net are licensed outside the United States — typically in jurisdictions such as Curaçao, Panama or Costa Rica. They are not licensed or authorized by any US state gaming commission or board. Accepting US players is not the same thing as being approved to serve them.

For a US bettor, using an offshore sportsbook sits in a legal grey area. Federal and state law treat online gambling differently, and the picture varies enormously by state:

  • Some states have legal, regulated online sports betting through state-licensed operators, with a state regulator you can complain to.
  • Some states permit retail betting only, or regulate racebooks and pari-mutuel wagering separately from sportsbooks.
  • Some states restrict or prohibit online sports betting entirely, and a few have statutes that address the bettor as well as the operator.

You are responsible for checking the current law in your own state before opening an account or placing a wager. We do not encourage anyone to break the law where they live, and we make no representation that using an offshore betting site is lawful for you.

No US player protections apply. When you bet with an offshore sportsbook you do not get segregated player funds, a state-run dispute resolution process, a regulator-backed guarantee of payment, or the mandated responsible gambling and self-exclusion tools that state-licensed operators must provide. If an offshore site delays a withdrawal, voids a wager, closes your account or refuses payment, your practical recourse is limited to the operator's own complaints process and, in some cases, its offshore licensing body. That is a real risk and you should size your deposits with it in mind.

How we make money, and what that does not buy

Top Offshore Sportsbooks earns revenue through affiliate arrangements. If you follow a link from this site to an offshore sportsbook and open an account, we may receive a commission from that operator. You pay nothing extra, and the offer you see is the one the sportsbook is advertising.

Commercial relationships do not decide position. An operator cannot buy a higher rank, a better editorial rating, or the removal of a criticism. Some sportsbooks we cover pay us nothing at all. Where our view of a site is negative, we publish it anyway — our value to you depends on it.

Ratings, rankings and the limits of our opinion

The scores shown against each sportsbook are editorial ratings produced by our team. They are not customer review scores, not survey results, and not an audited measure of anything. They reflect our assessment on the criteria below, and reasonable people can disagree with them.

What we weighWhat we look atKnown limits

We describe no sportsbook as completely safe. A long track record of paying reduces risk; it does not remove it. Our full approach is set out on the ranked review of offshore sportsbooks for US bettors, and you can read more about the team on our about page.

Bonus offers: what the terms on this site mean

Where we show a welcome bonus, reload bonus or free bet, we are reproducing what the operator advertises at the time of publication. The headline number is never the whole offer. Every promotion carries material conditions — a rollover or wagering requirement, a minimum deposit, minimum odds on qualifying wagers, an expiry window, excluded markets or bet types, and eligibility limited to new accounts in permitted countries. A bonus is not free money: you must deposit and risk your own funds to qualify, and the rollover must be cleared before any related winnings can be withdrawn.

Three examples of how the headline and the conditions sit together:

  • Lucky Rebel is the highest-rated new offshore sportsbook in our list, advertising a welcome offer of 125% up to $1,250 plus a 50 FreeBet. It is here because it is a recent arrival pairing an aggressive matched deposit with a free bet component, which suits bettors comparing sign-up value rather than track record. That is also its limitation: as a newer operator it has the shortest public history of paying of the sites we rank, and history is the single best evidence a reader has. The 125% match and the FreeBet apply to qualifying new-account deposits only and are subject to the operator's stated rollover, minimum odds, time limit and eligibility rules — read them in full on site before depositing, because we cannot warrant them.
  • Bovada advertises a welcome bonus of 50% up to $250. It appears near the top for a different reason: it is one of the longest-established names accepting US players, with broad coverage across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL and a racebook, which matters more to access-driven bettors than a large headline match. The trade-off is that the bonus is the smallest of the group and Bovada is known for firmer limits on sharp accounts. Bonus funds carry rollover, minimum odds and an expiry period set by the operator, and eligibility is restricted by location.
  • BetOnline advertises $250 in free bets for new customers. Its place here reflects wide market coverage — props, futures, same-game parlays and live betting — plus a broad banking menu including crypto. Free bets typically exclude the stake from any return and carry minimum-odds and expiry conditions, and some bettors report tighter scrutiny at the verification stage for larger withdrawals. Check the promotion page for the current rollover and qualifying criteria before you opt in.

Other sportsbooks in our list advertise their own offers — including BetNow at 125% up to $2,500, Everygame at 100% up to $500, BetUS at 100% up to $2,000 on sports with 25% on casino, Sportsbetting at 50% up to $250 in free bets, Xbet at 50% up to $200 when using a credit card, MyBookie at 100% up to $1,000 for new players, and ApuestaHoy at a 200% welcome offer. In every case the operator's own terms govern, and those terms can change after we publish. If what you see on the sportsbook differs from what you see here, the operator's version is the one that applies.

Money, banking and currency

All deposits, withdrawals and account balances are between you and the sportsbook. We do not handle funds and cannot confirm that a given payment method will work for you. Availability of bank card deposits, bank wire, money transfer and voucher or player transfer options for American customers changes, sometimes without notice, and card issuers decline gambling-coded transactions at their discretion.

Crypto deserves its own warning. Cryptocurrency betting is widely promoted for faster payouts and lighter verification, but the value of the coin you deposit can fall between deposit and withdrawal, and an on-chain transfer sent to a wrong address cannot be reversed. Withdrawal fees, minimum and maximum payout limits, and KYC requests on larger cashouts all sit with the operator. Verify the current terms on the sportsbook itself rather than relying on any figure you read here.

Adjacent products on the sites we cover

Most offshore sportsbooks run more than one product under a single account and a single wallet: an online casino with slots and table games, live-dealer rooms, poker, esports and a racebook for horse racing. These sections usually have separate bonus terms, different rollover multipliers and different contribution rates, and a sports bonus generally cannot be cleared on casino play. Where we mention these products it is for context only — our rankings are built around sports betting, and a strong sportsbook is not evidence of a strong casino.

Betting tips and content accuracy

Any betting tips, previews or analysis published on sportsims.net are opinion offered for information. There are no locks and no guaranteed outcomes. Betting is not a reliable source of income and should not be treated as a way to solve a financial problem. Every wager can lose, and with an offshore sportsbook you also carry the risk that a winning wager is paid late or not at all.

We aim for accuracy and we date time-sensitive findings, but odds, bonus terms, payment methods, licensing details and operator ownership all change. We distinguish between what we have verified, what the sportsbook advertises, and what remains unresolved. We make no warranty that content is complete or current, and we accept no liability for losses arising from reliance on it. Spotted something wrong? Tell us through the contact page and we will correct it.

Your responsibilities as a user

  1. Confirm you are 21 or over — or 18 where that is the operator's stated minimum and your jurisdiction allows it — before using any site we link to.
  2. Check your own state's law on online sports betting before opening an account.
  3. Read the operator's full terms, bonus conditions and payout limits yourself. Ours is a summary, not a substitute.
  4. Bet only with money you can afford to lose, and never borrow to fund an account.
  5. Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Do not scrape, republish or reproduce our content without written permission.

Responsible gambling

Gambling should stay entertainment. If it stops being that, step away. Warning signs include betting more than you planned, chasing losses, hiding your betting from people close to you, or betting to relieve stress. Offshore sportsbooks may not offer the deposit limits, time-outs, reality checks and self-exclusion tools that state-regulated operators are required to provide, so the safeguards often have to come from you.

Intellectual property, third-party links and changes

Text, rankings, ratings and page layouts on sportsims.net are our property or used with permission. Operator names and logos belong to their owners and appear for identification only; their presence does not imply endorsement of us by them.

Links to sportsbooks take you to third-party sites governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their security, or how they treat your data or your money.

We may update these terms as our coverage, the market or the legal position changes. The revision date at the top of the page shows when they were last reviewed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised version. If any clause is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

Questions about these terms

If something here is unclear, or you want to know why a particular sportsbook is ranked where it is, write to us through the contact form. We will not give legal advice or comment on an individual dispute with an operator, but we will explain our reasoning and fix anything we have got wrong.
